Analysis and Development of Special Education Programs, Protocols & Policies

Special Education and Pupil Personnel Services including mental health and social emotional learning program planning and development is a complicated business. Our services include analysis of existing programs, protocols and policies, recommendations for implementation of new programs and or protocol/policy updates, and long term planning.

Services include:

• Support to Pupil Personnel Services and Special Education Administrators in the development of procedures and protocols, special education plans, preparation for annual reviews and compliance with all state and federal laws and guidelines.

• Review of Special Education Programs and Services including all aspects of special education continuum from related services providers to out of district placements.

• Comprehensive analysis of policies, procedures, and practices within the school district to include access and opportunity for students with disabilities.

• Develop long term special education program planning.

• Review and recommendation of specialized reading programs for remediation and special education support and instruction.This includes the analysis of current reading programs-needs assessment, ordering new reading materials, ensuring adequate training and certification of teachers and para-professional staff and progress monitoring of reading program effectiveness.

• Development of in district programs ( K-12) for students with autism and other developmental disabilities.
